Poppy Pals Sponsorship Program
When you pledge a recurring monthly or annual donation, you become a Poppy Pal!
The Poppy Pals Sponsorship program has four suggested monthly donation amounts, named after our Poppy cats! Each level of giving is a recurring, monthly donation that allows us to provide food, shelter, and medical care for our Poppy cats.

You can also sign up to sponsor a Poppy kitty who is particularly special to you or a beloved cat who has crossed The Rainbow Bridge.
Cliffy Level - $25/month
Cliffy is a long-time Poppy resident who has charmed everyone he's met! He came to us as a kitten with a rear paw deformity and needed an amputation so he's now a very special "tri-pawed" cat! Cliffy is sweet, naughty, and has everyone wrapped around his paw- what Cliffy wants, Cliffy gets! A donation of $25 per month would allow the Poppy Foundation to cover all costs for much-needed supplies such as paper towels, trash bags, litter, cleaning products, laundry detergent, and paper food boats. These items are essential for our day-to-day operations. If you’d like to join the Cliffy level of sponsorship, please pledge your donation for $25/month.
Charlie Level - $50/month
Our sweet boy Charlie came to the Poppy Foundation as an abandoned kitten and developed a seizure disorder when he was about 4 months old. Charlie requires constant monitoring and medication multiple times a day to control his condition. As you can tell, Charlie has never missed a meal! Charlie is one of over 115 Poppy Foundation resident cats, which means we have a lot of mouths to feed! We go through approximately 100 cans of food a day, which is one of our largest expenses. We also feed special, urinary dry food to ensure that every one of our kitties stays as healthy as possible. Donating at the Charlie level of $50/month allows us to make sure we can keep our food shelves stocked!
Ponyo Level - $75/month
Ponyo is an extra special girl with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) which makes her wobbly and unable to walk upright. Ponyo is part of a group of Poppy kitties (along with Ginger, Katrina, Winnie, Rick, Esther, and Fuego). who need their bladders expressed or help getting to the litter box 5 times throughout each day. Pledging your donation at the Ponyo level of $75 per month goes toward the cost of veterinary technician assistance for each of our "bladder cats."
Zazu Level - $100/month
The Zazu level of giving was created in memory of one of our most special and loved Poppy cats. King Zazu lived to be over 20 years old, but required daily medication to treat conditions such as hyperthyroidism and pancreatitis. Over 75% of our resident cats require daily medications and have conditions that make them un-adoptable, meaning we will love and care for them for the rest of their lives. Donating at the Zazu level of giving of $100/month would contribute toward the monthly cost of medications, diagnostic lab work, X-rays, exams, and other medical costs to make sure each Poppy cat stays as healthy as possible.
